Our Teaching Team

At Beverton Preschool we understand that our team of educators play an important part in supporting children’s learning within the context of our play based programme. We are in an enviable position and operate with a team of highly trained and experienced educators. The team have been carefully chosen to reflect the quality standards of service provision, which have been developed and maintained over the years. All of our team hold a minimum QQI level 6 Qualification in Early Years Education and Care and all educators regularly engage in CPD to up skill and extend knowledge in a sector that is continuously changing

Nickola Cullen

Owner & Director

Qualifications: BA Applied Early Childhood & BA Leadership and Management

A little bit about me:

Nickola runs both Roots and Wings and Beverton Preschool, with over 20 years experience and believes that young children when exposed to an enriching environment children and positive meaningful interactions are empowered to

becoming competent and capable learners.

Rachael Mc Allister

Team Lead - Beverton

Qualifications: BA Hons. In Leadership and Management of the Early Years Sector

A little bit about me:

My previous studies were in the field of Deaf Studies and Sign Language. I have a keen interest for child language

acquisition and nurturing communication skills in the early years, while also supporting the holistic development of each child through play and warm interactions.

Sue Mc Grady

A little bit about me:

I really enjoy working in Early Years - each day as every day is different. Building meaningful relationships with children is extremely important to me and I find my role as an Early Years Teacher very rewarding😊

Rebecca Hegartty

A Little bit About me:

Rebecca is our newest member to Beverton. After completing her final year workplacement with us in 2019 -2020 she joined our team as a Newly Qualified Educator in September 2020
